At first glance this seems really stupid but it might not be so stupid after all. You can send people spam saying "Aren't messages like these annoying? Get rid of them with our software. You'll never hear from us again!" Brilliant! ;)

That would be a halfway decent marketing method, but they didn't take that tack, they just did regular spam! Argh. Lame.
