PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.26

This week's Monday Mission.

When was the last time you said or were told the following, and more importantly, how did it feel to be you at that moment:

1. "It's not you, it's me."
   I've been told variants of this a couple of times. It always sucks. I mean, of course it's at least partly me, or it wouldn't be necessary to say.
   Never said this, that I can remember. Certainly never said it seriously while trying to let someone down gently.
2. "I love you, but I'm not in love with you."
   Haven't been told this yet, thank heavens. Nor said it.
3. "You just don't get it!"
   I say variants of this semi-regularly to my folks. :) Can't remember offhand a time it was said to me.
4. "Do I look fat..."
   My friends and I will say this jokingly to each other (or variants of it).
5. "I hate you!"
   I don't think I've ever said this or had it said to me. I'd certainly remember being on the receiving end.
6. "If you really loved me..."
   God, I hate that line. Especially when women in movies use it to demand absurd things. Never said it or had it said to me.
7. "Not tonight..."
   Never said this or had it said about the obvious subject. I've said it in the context of, say, "Go to a movie? Not tonight, I have to work, but maybe tomorrow."
