A Friendly Tip

When attempting to get random people from the internet to do your homework, emailing them something like the following is a bad idea.

hi i need to write about this film. i saw the film twice and and am still finding it difficult to decide what the theme actually is. i just wanted to know if you could help answer these queastions for me about the film KEEPING THE FAITH what the theme is; how it was dealt with; why you think it was chosen; how effective you thought it was ans why; was the treatment fair to religion/religious people. thankyou

Anybody stupid enough to think this is a legit email is probably going to give you bad answers, and anybody smart enough to give you good answers will almost certainly realize you want them to do your work for you. If the latter, they will either mess with you (another example here) or refuse. This is a lose-lose situation here.

Good grief.

I try to laugh at people who send me email like this, because otherwise I would cry over the state of academia.

Should look fine on almost any browser, but looks best
on Netscape with the OgdredWeary font installed
and Style Sheets and JavaScript enabled.
