Day One Running 'round with Annie

Man. Yesterday rocked. After my morning at work, I picked up Annie and we had lunch at Cathay House (my favorite local Chinese place), drove up to the Mystery Spot, found our way to Felton Cemetery, took a short hike in Henry Cowell Redwood State Park, wandered Pacific Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz, and had dinner at Shogun (a Japanese restaurant on Pacific Ave.). It was exhausting, but awesome.

I had never been to the Mystery Spot before, so that was cool. Even knowing how they did most of the illusions, I had fun. Took some awesome pix, which I shall put up on Flickr forthwith.

Today we are hitting San Francisco. Wheee!
