Aww, snap! Ealasaid: 1, Bugs: 0. Also, Dan Brown continues to suck.
I have managed to cure one of my beloved cyclamen plants of a whitefly and aphid infestation merely by being really, really persistent. My weapon? Scotch tape. I didn't want to use a ton of chemicals on it if I could get rid of them without doing so.
What I did was go over the leaves carefully each day with a piece of tape, blotting at 'em the way you would to get cat hair off something. But instead of removing cat hair, I was removing the bugs and their eggs! Rawk! I did this several times a day and in just a few days, voila! I'm only finding one or two bugs on the whole plant, whereas before the poor thing was practically covered. Yay!
In other news, Idunno has confirmed my belief that if I read the DaVinci Code it will only piss me off.

FYI - They sell "insect soap" spray killer stuph in a turquoise bottle with purple accents that's totally organic safe. Works great too!
