I Made This!
We here at Youhaas Global take our fake music very seriously.
How seriously, you ask?
So seriously that we have seven fake guitars, and will be acquiring an eighth with the purchase of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith in a few short weeks.
So seriously that I made guitar hangers for our fake guitars this weekend so they wouldn't just be piled up by the TV.
Yeah, you read that right.
I went to Southern Lumber (after some excitement -- Google Maps failed to locate it correctly) and got 2x4s. I already had the screw-in type hangers, courtesy of eBay. Then all it took was borrowing Dad's power drill and some hard work, and voila!
It's amazing how satisfying it is to build something.

A good start, to say the least - but what will you do with the drum kits that will come with GH: World Tour and Konami's effort? Not to mention the inevitable Rock Band 2 (which will probably feature 10 pads & cymbals in a bout of one-upmanship rivaling the "our-razor-has-more-blades" saga)...
(On a side note: I'm doing the Vocal Career in an imported US rock band while I wait for the European release of the PS3 version (so I can get instruments that actually have a usable warranty), and recently broke into the top 1000 career scores. Not bad for someone who can't carry a tune to save his life :D)

Tim - we're toying with the idea of putting hooks in another wall to hang the drumkit(s) up and out of the way. My real goal is to just buy a house already. "Why do you need a house, Ealasaid and Twon?" "So we have room for our fake instruments, duh!"
