In the early 1990's, four brave bespectacled liberals in matching suits crammed everything they had onto a rickety cabaret stage and set off to change the vast barren landscape of American popular satire. The Foremen, they were called...

This then is my humble tribute to these brilliant troubadours, whose unsolicited opinions have often been blended with the easily-mocked and -parodied music known as folk!

The Foremen had a good ride... from the halls of NPR to the dentists of Simi Valley, who one time instead of applauding, simply yelled 'that's bullshit!' But it never swayed them... they continued to sing about the heroes of folk music, who have had an enduring appeal from the beginning of time right up to roughly 1974.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy this website, and hey, if the spirit should move you to email me with praise or send me money...
do!
