Day four
Meh. Things have been rough. Hard to be peppy and write a lot after the election. Gah.
Stilll, I'm writing every day even if it's not much. Cranked out 1000 yesterday and a little over 500 so far today. Go me.
Today's count: 4,535 words.
"Guys! GUYS!!!" Jim bounded into the room, his vintage sneakers squeaking on the vinitek floor. His dark eyes were open so wide they looked like they were about to pop out of his head.Reynold looked up at him with one eyebrow raised. "What?"
"I got us in! I GOT US IN!"
Brand just raised one eyebrow and set down his comic book.
Jim crouched a bit and gestured at them to lean towards him. "Remember the expedition? I got us an in. I found one of those disgruntled grad students I was telling you about and he's going to help us out. We are set, my friends. We are heading back to get that record!"
