Day seven!
Well, Friday I was subbing all day, yesterday I was incommunicado. Today I went to a writein. So... yeah. Friday I was at 7106, Saturday I hit 8,835, and today I wrote 2.5k at the writein and hit 11,349. Yay! I'm pretty much back on track. Go me.
Today's excerpt includes dinosaur pee, one of the dares for this year. Woot.
"Johnny! What on earth is going on? Who was that many? Why did he steal one of my mother's gloves? What on earth am I supposed to do with this… this dinosaur body in my living room?!"
"Millicent-"
"You would not believe the mess that creature made in here. There's blood everywhere. I have no idea how I'm supposed to explain this to anyone! And it's so big!"
"Millicent!"
"Yes?"
"Calm down. I know some people who can help you with the mess. I just wanted to call to make sure you weren't hurt."
"I'm fine."
"Good. Did the dinosaurs leave?"
"Yes, but I think one of them… urinated on my carpet! I love this carpet and now it's ruined!"
