Good heavens, how could I forget?

I don’t think I’ve mentioned Monk in here at all. It is an absolutely fantastic show Fridays on USA. It revolves around a former police detective, Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub), whose amazing deductive talents make him a fantastic detective but whose serious obsessive-compulsive disorder makes him … well, highly entertaining. He may not be a cop anymore, but he makes a living as a consultant, helping the cops solve crimes.
The show is in many ways totally unrealistic (although I find myself pointing at the TV and hollering, “my GOD, I do that!!” sometimes. OCD? Me? Nah…) but it’s a ton of fun, and Monk is a wonderful character.
