As I said repeatedly over the last few days, that was the “best birthday weekend ever!”
Squooshed in with work, chores, and class, I had several parties, saw “The Big Lebowski” on the big screen, got waaaaaay more schwag than I deserve (including a 12″ doll of the Black Knight from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and a lovely ‘Booze Pyramid’ poster. Who knew that it’s best to have 2-3 servings of nut-flavored liquor per day?), and had a birthday cake that not only featured Merry and Pippin, but had a beheaded Jar-Jar, lumberjacks, a vorpal coney, and Treebeard. It also came with a skit, complete with stunts, fire, and a Gungan rendition of the Lumberjack song (“Meesa besa lumberjack, and meesa okieday…”).
Yes, I have weird friends, why do you ask?
I’m updating during some spare time on my subbing job. I hope to have photos and links and whatnot from the weekend (not to mention the Monday Mission) up later.
