Word of the Day

I’m subscribed to Dictionary.com‘s word of the day list. I’ve been thinking for a while that I should actually do something with the words I get in my inbox every day besides reading the messages and going “huh” and moving on. So I’ve decided to start posting ’em here… sort of. I’m going to use each in a sentence every day. Good practice for me, possibly entertaining for you.

Today’s word:

requisite \REK-wuh-zit\, adjective: Required by the nature of things or by circumstances; indispensable. noun: That which is required or necessary; something indispensable.

For most, but not all, vampires, drinking blood is a requisite of their existence.
