“The Amityville Horror” is a classic American legend. Although many of those involved have long since admitted that the haunting was a hoax, the creepy story of a family tormented by an evil house has captured the public’s imagination. This remake of the 1979 film has a few modern touches but overall is more old-fashioned than most of today’s horror films.
