Oh My GOD

Saw The Phenomenauts and The Red Elvises last night at Slim’s and had THE BEST TIME. Man. Those bands are great together, they’re both totally insane. The Phenomenauts remind me of the Elvises a couple of years ago when they were still into uniforms and schtick. Both bands are really high-energy and more about celebrating than anything else.
Plus, of course, they’re cute. But that’s a separate issue.
Even cooler: I talked briefly with Commander Angel Nova of the Phenomenauts after the show, and he expressed interest in having me work on their site! WOW! And Oleg of the Red Elvises is muttering about having me work on their main site and not just The Red Pages! How cool is that?
I got the new albums from both bands and generally rocked my socks off. Yay!
