Happy New Year!

Sorry I didn’t get this up yesterday when it would have been ultimately timely. Oh, well. :)
2003 was a damn good year for me in a lot of ways. It’s easy to whine about the negatives (I do that a lot) and forget about the positives.

For example, last year I…
… landed a regular, paying gig as a movie reviewer for a local paper. (This is what I want to do full time for a living, so it was a darn good start.)
… spent a lot of time with the truly wonderful guy I’m blessed to call my boyfriend.
… hung out with my friends in spite of having a truly horrendous work schedule.
… kept up some training in Aikido – I may not have been on the mat every week but I trained an average of three times a month, which is a LOT more than I was doing before.
… finished my NaNoWriMo wordcount for the third year in a row – and this time wasn’t entirely ashamed of what I’d written.
Not bad, eh? Here’s hoping that this coming year is even better, and that it’s fantastic for all my readers as well. w00t! 2004 in da house! ;)
