Rock on!

Behold, my faithful readers: It is a new week, one free of the massive quantities of seventh-grade PE that last week contained. Further, I get to see The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Tuesday night (yay for the 12:01 am showing!) with a group of my favorite people in the whole world. These two things conspire to make this one of the best weeks ever for yours truly.
To celebrate, I now present a huge collection of links.
Well, ok, it’s mostly an effort to clear out my “BlogLinks” email folder a little, but oh, well. On with the links!
This study showed that people often rely more on visual cues to judge a website’s reliability than on things like, say, the stated privacy policy or anything rational. Good grief.
Are some of my fellow Americans wondering what they can do to protest the actions of our government? Wonder no longer. Some good ideas there. (thanks, John Hedtke!)
SleeplessKnights are … odd. With dialup as my only access, it’s taking me a while to go through their stuff, but they’re hilarious. :)
This bit of fanfic is just wrong. If you know both your Lord of the Rings and your Monty Python, be warned: this may cause you to spew anything you may happen to be drinking all over your monitor. Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything… (Thanks, Nin!)
Like those personality quizzes I sometimes mention? Here are more quizzes than you can shake a very, very large stick at.
Old hat, but I must post it anyway just in case: Bill Gates’ mugshot (Thanks, Jen!)
That wacky Dubya, he’s so funny! Hu’s on First (Thanks, Dad!)
Wondering if you know yer arse from yer elbow? Find out! (Thanks to John Hedtke!)
This shockwave animation is kind of depressing but really nifty anyway. Lovely visual concept. Warning: may cause corporate puppets to fling themselves through windows.
I have a feeling that Austrailia may not have an equivalent to the First Amendment. Check out Dan Gilmore’s column on the Aussie court’s ruling about internet libel. Grrr.
And last but not least, Internet Feng-Shui. Kind of speaks for itself, really.
