PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.2

This week’s Friday Five.

  1. Have you ever bought something you were so excited about and found out later that it didn’t work? Were you able to return it? How did it go?
Hm… yeah. I got a new computer last year and it took several tries before I got one that actually worked. I suspect that somewhere in the Milpitas post office someone was dropping them or something. *sigh* Thankfully the people I bought it from were very helpful and I now have a computer that works like a charm.
  2. Do you have a PDA (personal digital assistant)? What kind, and how did you decide? What do you like about it? If you don’t own one, do you want one or do you do better without such gadgets?
Eh. I’m much more of a paper-and-pen person when it comes to addresses and keeping track of dates and whatnot. Besides, I collect the Discworld Diaries (yearly planners based around the Discworld books) and wouldn’t have an excuse to use them if I switched to a PDA.
  3. What illness do you wind up catching more than any other?
I catch colds at the drop of a hat. In fact, I suspect I’m coming down with one now.
  4. Do you like going to see the Doctor (any type)?
    Not really.
  5. How about the Dentist? Do you like going? Do you go in every 6 months for a check-up?
I go in about once every year or so. Am not particularly fond of it, because I had braces for years and kind of got burned out on having people stick their hands in my mouth.
  6. Are you a “Dog Person” or a “Cat Person?” Do you think a person’s choice tells you something about their personality?
I’m more of a cat person than a dog person but I love both. I do think that a specific preference (or liking both equally) is a telling characteristic.
  7. Have you ever had a friendship that just seems to have run its course? Where there is just nothing there anymore? What finally happened?
Hm… I had one that I thought had run its course but she and I still hang out and are forging new things in common. Or trying to. :-D
