Wellp, I saw “Phone Booth,” in case y’all were wondering.
It was a lot better than I expected, mostly due to the fact that Colin Farrell can act and Kiefer Sutherland is better literally phoning in his role than most people would be after a couple years of acting school and an intense mentorship under Jack Nicholson.
Was it a brilliant film? No. Was it astonishing and riveting and thrilling and life changing? No. Was it entertaining and worth the hour-and-a-half of my life I spent in the theater? Yes. Was it worth swallowing my pride yet again and bumming the price of a ticket off the bf? Yes.
I’m gonna go write my review now and will post it when it’s done, if I don’t run out of time.
